The sixth round was played at the European Team Chess Championship 2025, and Ukraine and Poland kept their sole leads in the Open and Women’s sections, respectively. And the first symbolic move of the 6th round was made by FIDE President Arkady Dvorkovich.

Open Section
Ukraine scored a 2.5–1.5 victory against France. The Netherlands defeated Serbia 3–1 to trail Ukraine by one match point. Azerbaijan, with 9 match points, currently holds third place after a victory over Armenia.

Women’s Section
Poland’s team extended their lead and now holds an advantage of three match points. Poland defeated Georgia 1 3–1 and is now followed by three teams with 9 match points each: Germany, Ukraine and Romania.

October 11 is a rest day before the decisive rounds of the championship.

The games of the next round will start at 15:00 in local time.
